My career comprises over two decades of professional experience in the areas of branding, marketing, website design, development and deployment, UI/UX, digital and scholarly publishing, multi-media production, communications and project management. I am able to balance creative vision with practical business acumen. I have a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of consumer and user behavior and technological trends, all of which allows me to develop creative brands and media that resonate with target audiences and help to accomplish organizational goals. Additionally, I communicate and collaborate effectively and am skilled at aligning teams from different disciplines and functions around shared brand goals. I am currently an entrepreneur and host and produce two podcasts: Podmasana and Yogascussion. I also work as a consultant for private and nonprofit businesses and organizations and teach yoga classes in person and online. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications from Westwood College and a Master's degree in Integrated Media Communications from the University of Nebraska. When not in the virtual world, I usually want to be outside and can be found running, walking, biking , gardening, hiking , practicing and teaching yoga , honing my archery skills or aspiring to be a Jedi . I am also the honored husband of a wonderful woman in a mixed-race marriage. I also follow sci-fi, cyberpunk, and fantasy genre movies and television shows and enjoy reading novels and comic books , studying Buddhism , Taoism , Hinduism and yoga , eastern philosophy, and putting in volunteer and community service hours when I can.
